Blending Notes
This exquisite tea consists of tender spring shoots of "one bud and two leaves," all covered in fine, silvery down ("Bai Hao"). This minimal handling preserves its authentic character, a fresh and mellow taste with a lasting sweet aftertaste. When brewed, it yields a crystal-clear, pale golden liquor that is exceptionally smooth. It is remarkably durable, with its delicate, sweet notes lasting for many infusions.
White tea leaves are voluminous and delicate. We recommend using a generous amount of leaves (about 4g) for every 180ml (6oz) of water. Heat water to 80-85°C (175-185°F). Steep for 2-3 minutes for the first infusion, and slightly longer for subsequent infusions.
